Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-10-09

Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using TCPLab (tcp.lc), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

TCPLab provides free, browser-based network diagnostic tools. The service is offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may add, change or remove tools at any time.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the service to attack, scan or probe systems you do not own or have permission to test;
  • attempt to overload, disrupt or circumvent the rate limits of the service;
  • automate bulk requests in a way that degrades the service for others;
  • use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations.

We may block requests or IP addresses that abuse the service.

No warranty

The tools are provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Network measurements are indicative: results depend on routing, caches, firewalls and the vantage point of the probe, and may differ from other tools or from your own machine. Do not rely on results for security-critical or legal decisions.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TCPLab is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.

Intellectual property

The service, its design and its content are owned by TCPLab unless otherwise stated. You may use the tools for personal and commercial diagnostics, but you may not copy or resell the service itself.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
